1. Site operator

Pi Finder (hereinafter, “the site”) is operated by Francisco Tomas Schemberger Joy, with address at Francia 2713. For any questions about this policy, you can write to franschembergerjoy@gmail.com.

2. What information is processed and where

• The sequences you search for. The search runs entirely in your browser. The site’s code does not send the numbers you enter to any server and does not write them into the page address, unless you choose to share a link.
• Search history. Your last five searches are stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), only on your device. You can delete them with the “Clear history” button.
• Additional digits of π. To extend the search, the page downloads files with more digits of π from this same site (the same files for every visitor) or, if they are not available, your device calculates them. They are stored in the browser’s local database (IndexedDB) to speed up future searches. They contain no personal data and you can delete them with “Delete saved digits”.
• Language. On your first visit, this site uses your IP address to estimate which country you are visiting from and show you the page in Spanish or English. The country is determined on our own server, is not sent to third parties and is not used for advertising. Only the chosen language is saved in your browser (localStorage); you can change it at any time with the language selector.
• Fonts. The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. To do so, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive technical data such as your IP address.
• Hosting. The site’s hosting provider, Hostinger, may log technical data about visits (for example, IP address, browser and date) in accordance with its own privacy policy: https://www.hostinger.com/ar/legal/politica-de-privacidad.

3. Advertising and cookies

The site displays Google AdSense ads. Regarding that advertising:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info.

If other advertising networks are added in the future, they will be listed in this section, with links to their websites and to their mechanisms for opting out of personalized advertising.

4. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland

5. Your rights

Under Argentine Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326, you have the right to request access to, rectification, updating and deletion of your personal data by writing to franschembergerjoy@gmail.com. Please note that the site does not directly collect personal data; for data related to advertising, you can also use the Google tools listed in section 3.

The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) is the supervisory authority for Law No. 25,326 and handles complaints related to non-compliance with personal data protection rules.

This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last updated date.
